Larunda is a very intuitive augmentative and alternative communication system (SAAC) based on pictograms of which we want to highlight its functionality, simplicity and ability to adapt to a wide variety of people according to their needs and abilities. It allows you to configure any of the parameters (size, text, rows, columns...) of its three sections (phrase builder, fixed pictograms, or main pictograms).Larunda has its own library of pictograms that the user can organize, expand and modify, distributing each of them into categories according to their own preferences. Larunda can use ARASAAC pictograms or any other custom pictogram, with images downloaded from the Internet or photos taken with your own device.Larunda is organized into boards, so that you can create different boards, each one with a certain configuration and pictograms, depending on the use you intend to give it. Larunda includes sample boards that you can start working with, test, or delete. Each board has three main areas: · Sentence builder, where the selected pictograms are added and then played sequentially Fixed pictograms, pictograms that are always visible · Main pictograms, pictograms that can change depending on the category we selectYou can configure the size of any of these three areas or even hide one of them. For each pictogram present on a board you can: Decide whether or not to add it to the phrase builder Decide whether or not to pronounce Set the text that is displayed and the text that is spoken Decide if the pictogram will open a link to another app (web, YouTube...)The pictographic symbols used are the property of the Government of Aragon and have been created by Sergio Palao for ARASAAC (http://www.arasaac.org), which distributes them under a Creative Commons BY-NC-SA License.
